Formwork beam H20

The wooden glued H formwork beam BDK 1 is intended to act as a formwork element for carrying vertical loads during the installation of reinforcement and concrete pouring in the preparation and manufacture of monolithic reinforced concrete structures of interfloor slabs, as well as conducting geodetic works when checking the horizontality of the surface.
The beam is a H-beam, the flange is made of coniferous wood with grooves, the flange may have dovetail joints along the length, the web – FSF brand plywood, installed with a tooth joints glued with a polyurethane. The beam is coated with water-dispersion paints with hydrophobizers, yellow color GA 20054.
The beam is made with protection of the ends of the timber with high-strength plastic caps.
The beam is made of coniferous wood according to GOST 9463 not lower than II grade and plywood according to GOST 3916.1 and GOST 3916.2.
The beam should be installed and fixed on special telescopic props.

1.2 Maximum deviations from geometric dimensions and shape should not exceed:

1.3 Beam skew not more than ±2 mm
1.4 Maximum deviations from straightness not more than 4 mm – for beam lengths up to 3.0 m inclusive, 5 mm – for beams longer than 3.0 m.
1.5 Deviations from flatness not more than 3 mm in height.
1.6 Deviations from perpendicularity of adjacent surfaces – not more than 2 mm.
1.7 Beams must be manufactured according to working drawings approved in the established order.

2.2 The delivery set is executed in accordance with the norms stated in this passport.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 Safety and environmental protection requirements, as well as the order of their control, must be established in the set of documentation for the production of products in accordance with the current technical regulations, construction norms and rules, as well as sanitary norms, methodologies, and other documents approved by health authorities.
3.2 Products must be manufactured in accordance with GOST 12.2.003-91.
3.3 During loading, storing, and unloading of beams, strict adherence to safety rules is necessary when conducting rigging and lifting operations according to GOST 12.3.002-75 "SSBT. Production processes. General safety requirements".
3.4 The organization and conduct of the technological process should provide for safety measures and harmlessness for the working personnel, nearby residential areas, and the environment.
3.5 The production process should be fire- and explosion safe.
3.6 Production equipment must meet the requirements of GOST 12.1.018-93 "SSBT. Fire safety. Electrostatic spark safety. Protective grounding, neutralization", GOST 12.1.045-84 "SSBT. Electrostatic fields. Permissible levels at workplaces and requirements for control".
3.7 Persons carrying out work under p.4.3 must have certification for the right to conduct lifting operations.
3.8 Lifting and lowering, installation, and stacking of beams must be carried out without sharp jerks and impacts and must be performed by at least two certified slings, intended for lifting the weight.
3.9 Slings used for lifting, loading-unloading of beams, must be wrapped in tarpaulin or passed through a fire hose to prevent damage. The usage of bare cables is not allowed.

4.1 Beams must be packed in pallets.
4.2 Each pallet must contain beams of one type. The mass of the pallet should not exceed 2 tons.
4.3 Each delivery must be accompanied by a passport, a certificate of conformity.
The passport must indicate:
-Type of beam
-Number of pieces
-Size
4.4 Pallet formation should be carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 19041-85*E. The width of the pallet should not exceed 1350 mm, height – 1450 mm.

5.1 Pallets of beams are transported by any type of transport in compliance with the requirements of GOST 19041-85
5.2 Beams must be stored sorted by types sizes. Stacked in stacks on wooden pads so as to prevent their sagging and residual deformations.
5.3 During transportation, pallets of beams must be protected from mechanical damage, moisture, and contamination.
5.4 Lifting, loading, and unloading of beams should be carried out by a crane using special gripping devices and flexible belts.
5.5 Dropping of products during loading, transportation, and unloading is prohibited.
5.6 Storage is carried out in closed ventilated premises or under a canopy, excluding the ingress of atmospheric precipitation and direct sunlight.
5.7 The use of cleaning agents containing abrasive materials is not allowed for cleaning products.
5.8 During storage, the color of the beam may change.

6.1 The manufacturing enterprise guarantees the compliance of beams with the requirements of these technical conditions - provided the consumer complies with the conditions of transportation, storage, installation, and operation of products.

A) Diagonal cracks (across the fibers):
– Not allowed:
Straight cracks (along the fibers):
– allowed parallel to the flange up to a = 2 mm
– expansion of the flange due to the appearance of a crack is not allowed
B) Lateral delamination:
– allowed on one side to a depth of a = 10 mm and a width of b up to 500 mm
C) Diagonal delamination on the edge:
– allowed diagonally up to a = 30 mm and a length of b = up to 500 mm
D) Saws:
– superficial saws up to a depth of a = 2 mm are allowed
E) End of the flange:
– delamination up to 60 mm in length is allowed
F) Damage to the web:
– allowed only to a minor extent and only on one side of the beam
G) Damage at the end of the web:
– allowed to a maximum depth of a = 20 mm
